LA Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani doesn’t miss.

The MLB’s home run leader, Shohei Ohtani smacked another baseball out of the park in his first AB for the LA Angels on Tuesday night.

Yes it’s unbelievable, yes it’s godlike, yes it’s incredible, but most importantly, it feels even expected at this point.

Ohtani simply just doesn’t miss.

It’s Ohtani’s 14th home run of the season. The Angels just hit the 40-game mark.

Yes, if this keeps up, he will be on pace for over 55 home runs this season.

Yep, a pitcher is on pace for over 55 home runs this season…while that pitcher also has a 2.10 ERA.

That pitcher looks like the clear front-runner for the AL MVP too.

The other MVP candidate for the Halos, Mike Trout, didn’t play tonight. That, along with a five-run first inning from the Indians, cast a bit of a dark cloud over this game.

Ohtani made sure that dark cloud left Anaheim very quickly in the first inning.

Ohtani just can’t be stopped. He’s currently at 14 home runs, 33 RBI, and he’s currently batting .273.

At the plate, that is. As if that’s not already enough, he’ll also be starting on the mound tomorrow, where he sports a 2.10 ERA and is second in the MLB among starting pitchers with 14 strikeouts per nine innings.

He even played in the outfield last week. What we’re seeing is something we need to make sure we never forget. We may never see it again.

Somebody is going to have to step up with Mike Trout hitting the IL today, and I’ll never bet against Ohtani to rise to the occasion.
