No. 1 player on a postseason roster who is a perfect fit for the LA Angels: Max Scherzer

Max Scherzer is Max Scherzer. He’s been one of the best pitchers in this league for nine straight years now, and the LA Angels need to go all out for him.

Mike Trout has already been recruiting Scherzer, and Scherzer is rumored to really like LA. Of course, the latter could mean that he could be interested in staying with the Dodgers. However, don’t forget that the Angels were making a play for Scherzer at the trade deadline this year.

They want him, and they have the ability to spend a lot of money this offseason. If they choose to prioritize him, they absolutely can pick him up. They can out-bid the Dodgers.

The Angels need to be scouting the postseason hard. There are a lot of exceptional players playing, and three of them are even all playing together in the NLCS.
