How an artistic Redditor is using the great Mike Trout to get through the MLB lockout

Out LA Angels' very own Mike Trout is one of the most beloved players in this league.

It's a big part of what's helped us Angels fans through these last seven years. Despite us not getting into the playoffs in any of those seven, Trout is the best player in baseball and nobody can take that away from us.

He's also actually taking over the baseball Redditt universe. This time, though, it's not even due to his play on the field. It's actually due to a brilliant artist who has been putting Trout masterpieces out in the universe; one piece per day of the MLB lockout.

Mike Trout may need to help LA Angels fans through the MLB lockout for a while longer.

My personal favorite is THIS one (Day 22), which has Trout actually knocking out Star Wars character Chewbacca while posing like Muhammad Ali after he took him down.

Trout is about to have a monster year next year, as he was actually having the best year of his career before he went down to his calf tear injury last season. He was hitting .333/.466/.624 (1.090 OPS) with an insane 195 OPS+. Those are all career-highs, except for his slugging percentage and OPS+.

Trout had eight home runs and 23 runs scored in just 36 games. He hasn't made an error in years. He's as good as it gets in this league, and it makes sense as to why we're passing the time these days with him.
