Petit will face by Bret Suter. A 27-year old Harvard grad who throws left. Suter pitched in 14 games last season with the Brewers, finishing with an ERA of 3.32 and a WHIP of 1.38.
For tomorrow’s game, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register tweeted that Brooks Pounders, Deolis Guerra, and Jose Alvarez will likely see time on the mound.
While fans are itching to see how the new-look Angels will gel, the pitching is the one thing to keep an eye on. The Angels have a ton of talent at camp this year. You can expect for some unlikely names to appear starting situations. Also noteworthy, the Angels still have to name a fifth and final starter for the season.

The one player to keep an eye on during spring training is Ramirez. Angels GM Billy Eppler thinks that Ramirez could be the fifth starter for the Angels this season. However, early thoughts on Bud Norris indicates he still has a lot left in the tank, and Alex Meyer has also been impressive.
Petit starting tomorrow is an interesting call.
The Angels will look to establish themselves as contenders in the AL West early. While spring training is mainly viewed as wasted time amongst fans, building chemistry is vital to the Angels success. That’s what spring training and camp is all about.
