The LA Angels earned a win yesterday in their first game of this series vs. the Minnesota Twins.

They didn’t look the best offensively, but Andrew Heaney dealt, and the bullpen came in and surprisingly backed him up very well.

If the staff is going to look like it did yesterday, this series should be no problem at all for the Halos, even on the road.

The Angels have a better offense than the Twins, and Justin Upton has now returned to the lineup.

The betting odds were set for the game tonight. We hope you had the Angels winning yesterday, and I suggest picking them to win today too!

What Time is the Angels Game Today?

The Angels will be playing at 5:10 PM PT today.

What channel is the Angels game on today?

The Angels broadcast will be on Bally Sports West, and the Twins broadcast will be over on Bally Sports North.

Angels vs Twins Odds Today

Unlike yesterday, the spread is going to be Angels (-1.5) today. The money line is set at -130 for the Halos, and +104 for Minnesota. The over/under is set at 10.5.

It’s going to be +100 if taking the over, and -125 if taking the under.

Angels vs Twins Pitching Matchup

Alex Cobb will take the mound for the LA Angels, and J.A. Happ will be on the rubber for the Twins. Happ hasn’t been the same pitcher he was in his 2018 All-Star season, and this year has been no different. Sporting a 6.15 ERA and 1.500 WHIP, he doesn’t have a ton going for him as he enters this contest.

Cobb has a 3.96 ERA with a 1.239 WHIP. He’s struck out 9.9 batters per nine innings this season, and walked just 3.1 hitters per nine. Having given up just two earned runs in his last 19.2 innings pitched, he’s got to feel good entering tonight’s game.

Angels Starting Lineup

  1. David Fletcher//2B
  2. Phil Gosselin//1B
  3. Jose Iglesias//SS
  4. Justin Upton//DH
  5. Kurt Suzuki//C
  6. Brandon Marsh//CF
  7. Juan Lagares//LF
  8. Jack Mayfield//3B
  9. Adam Eaton//RF

Mike Trout injury

Mike Trout does not have a return date set right now, but he was seen taking batting practice yesterday, which is a major step in his recovery.

Anthony Rendon injury

Anthony Rendon will miss the game as well, and is still several days out from his return.

Angels vs Twins Prediction Today

The Angels will win back-to-back games tonight. A surging Alex Cobb should have no trouble taking on a mediocre Twins lineup that now doesn’t have slugger Nelson Cruz.

The Halo bullpen has been awful this year, but looked good yesterday. This is a favorable matchup for the Angels.
