Projected LA Angels Opening Day lineup during MLB lockout

The middle of my projected LA Angels Opening Day lineup right now has a lot of potential for great power.

Batting cleanup for the LA Angels: Anthony Rendon, 3B

I would actually not bat Anthony Rendon cleanup, but I believe that the LA Angels will. They really believe in Rendon, and there's been a decent amount of hype surrounding a potential bounce-back from 'Tony Two-Bags.' And after all, if he does bounce back, he's going to be special.

Batting fifth for the LA Angels: Jared Walsh, 1B

I would bat Jared Walsh ahead of Rendon if I were LA Angels Manager Maddon, because I know what I'm getting from Walsh next year, but I don't think it will happen that way. And it's not a real problem. If Walsh is our fifth-hole hitter, we clearly have a very good lineup.

Walsh is coming off of an All-Star season where he slugged over .500 and drove in 98 runs with 34 doubles. I'll take it from the five spot in the order.

Batting sixth for the LA Angels: Jo Adell, LF

Jo Adell could end up really breaking out next year for the LA Angels. Driving in 26 runs in just 35 games last year, he's already shown the promise. Coupling that with the type of Minor Leaguer he was, and it's only a matter of time until he really pops off.
