The Yankees have started to rebuild making numerous trades at the deadline to get a plethora of prospects. The Yankees are sitting five games out of the wild-card spot so there still is a chance for them to make the post-season, but not likely.
The Angels after having there only winning month of the season in July, going 15-11, started August by losing 11 of their first 13 games. The Angels were able to split a four-game series against Seattle by winning a pair of one run games including last night.

One noteworthy item is that before Saturday night’s game, the Angels will induct Garret Anderson into the Angels Hall of Fame during a pre-game ceremony.
