The LA Angels appear to be possibly getting Mike Trout back from injury soon.

Trout has began running, which is a huge step in his road to recovery.

The Angels will no doubt improve when their franchise player gets back. Therefore, they’ll consider buying at the trade deadline. If they do, there are a few outfielders who are speculated to be on the trade block that would be great to pair with Trout.

No. 3 outfielder for the LA Angels to trade for and pair with Mike Trout: Michael A. Taylor

Michael A. Taylor with Mike Trout and Justin Upton on the LA Angels would be an awesome outfield for the Halos.

Because, Taylor has what the Angels need most in the outfield; defense.

Trout’s a solid defensive player, and Upton’s alright. That’s really all that is. Adam Eaton has played great defense in the past, but isn’t the player he once was in the field.

Taylor is an outstanding defensive player, and has been better than Eaton offensively this year. I like the Adam Eaton signing, but I think that acquiring Taylor can provide the Angels with some nice depth to go along with the guys that they have.

Taylor should likely start if he comes over, even when Trout and Upton get back, but even if he sits he’ll still provide the Angels with an important piece that should find plenty of good opportunities to see the field.
