The Los Angeles Angels may be teasing a logo change based on their recent social media behavior. If you look at the team's header on X, they have a little guy with wings and a glove on his hand. Apparently, this is not a new logo as it draws upon the Angels' history.

The logo is apparently the "Little Halo Boy" and was featured on the team's 1966 spring training booklet.

Angels teasing a new logo with recent social media activity

So what exactly are the Angels teasing with this? It's doubtful that they're getting rid of their classic "A" logo anytime soon, but maybe this could be a new alternate logo or maybe even be incorporated into a new City Connect look.

There has been some speculation about whether the Angels would get a new City Connect look this season, as it seems they are due, but we have not gotten any official word on that front.

The Angels have had the same City Connect look since 2022, so it may be time for a fresh uniform. Although LA's City Connect look has been a popular one and they've even been ranked as one of the top-10 uniforms among all City Connects, so maybe if it isn't broken, don't fix it?

The Angels have cycled through quite a few logos in franchise history. Back when they were the California Angels, they had a logo that was the state of California, and they even had some "CA" hats that they rolled with for a while.

The franchise rebranded as the Anaheim Angels in the late-90's and adopted a logo that had wings and dropped the iconic halo that had been part of the look since the 1970's.

That look didn't last all that long, and the team got back to that classic "A' on their caps and helmets, which has remained a pretty consistent look since 2005 when the infamous Arte Moreno bought the team.

Maybe the Angels can incorporate the "Little Halo Boy" into a new alternate look. It would be a nice nod to the past, and maybe they could even incorporate some other elements from their uniforms in the 1960's.

Of course, some fans do not care what the team wears at all and are more focused on wins and losses. That's a fair outlook, and for that crowd, the Angels are currently 3-4 on the season, and they will play their next game on Friday night against the Seattle Mariners. Do not expect the "Little Halo Boy" to make an appearance.
